VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA
DECEMBER 2017

It was a historic day at Â鶹´«Ã½rtb December 1 as we broke ground for the magnificent new Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center. Scheduled for completion in early 2019, the 23,200-square-foot center will feature an impressive glass-enclosed grand lobby and a theater that seats an audience of 300. When we envisioned the design of this new center, we were very mindful of the vibrant arts scene in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, where the fine and performing arts have found enthusiastic audiences and enriched all of our lives here in Coastal Virginia. We wanted to contribute a facility that in its own way would serve as a beacon for creativity, imagination, and artistic accomplishment. Goode School of Arts and Humanities and VWU Professor of Theatre. Read More
